YEAR 1 FOREST SCHOOL Our third and final forest school session at Parkside and what fun we had! The morning was full of games on the common, decorating stones, dandelion artwork and making a bug hotel! This afternoon we lit the campfire to toast marshmallows for yummy smores! Then we ended the day exploring the forest obstacle course and campfire songs! WALK TO SCHOOL WEEK We are encouraging pupils and parents to take part in Walk to School Week next week. Walking is a healthy, active, non-polluting way of getting to school. For those that live too far away to walk the whole distance, try parking further from school and walking the rest of the distance.
